25 Aug 15 – UCG Organisation update

Hey everyone,
Its been a while since I’ve written an email to you all. We have had a few changes within the office bearers of the UCG committee. First of all I would love to welcome Joanne Renfrey and Sorcha Wilkes who have both taken on office bearing positions. They are a breath of fresh air within the organisation, both bringing valuable skills to our group to move it strongly into the future. On that note I would also like to give a big thank you to Fabio and Laura Tolli who have been of great help to the organisation thus far, due to a couple of reasons they felt they needed to take a step back in the running of the UCG. 1 Jul 15 – Working bee Sunday 5/7/2015

Hello everyone,

This Sundays working bee will involve finishing off the new mulched area and taking care of a few maintenance issues. We will start at 10am.

We will need rakes and forks to move the mulch.

Please be sure to bring your safety shoes, work gloves and water.

Work on the brick machine is in it’s finale stages, very exciting. Its booked into the hydraulic shop this Friday and booked into the paint shop next Thursday. If all goes well we will be pressing bricks next weekend.

Warm regards
UCG Committee

18 Jun 15 – This Sundays working bee 21/6/2015

Hello everybody,

Last working bee we prepared the soil for the next tier of garden bed.
During the past 2 weeks the Uralla Shire council kindly donated and delivered another approx 50 cubic meters of mulch that needs to be spread. The piles were dumped in position so that the mulch wont need to be barrowed, just spread out. We are going to need all hands on deck (many hands make light work), if you could make it this Sunday that would be awesome, even if just for an hour :).

You will need to wear your working boots.
If you have a gardening fork to bring along that would be great if not that’s okay too.
Don’t forget your gloves and some water.

Kind Regards
UCG Committee
