There is now a new section on our website:
Hints and Tips from the Community.
These come from people in the community and are mostly in the form of links to other web-pages which are about gardening or gardening-related.
I will post the links with a few words from the person(s) submitting them, in the Hints and Tips page accessible from the top menu bar. I will also place the links on our Links page (on the top menu bar)
I hope that these will help people to get inspired to try out some new ideas in their own gardens; whether you grow flowers or vegetables.
Very little has been happening in the garden as it is now winter; we have been harvesting broccoli and cabbage, and also some silverbeet and kale.
These have been distributed to the community via the Uralla Neighbourhood Pantry.
Starting around August/September we hope to begin holding regular working bees again; possibly on a Sunday.
We will put the information on here when it is confirmed.
If you are interested in joining us for these working bees, please email us at info(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)urallacommunitygarden.org.au , or at jr.55(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)live.com.au">jr.55(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)live.com.au , and we will add you to our emails list for working bees. You will receive only information about Working Bees.
